How to Use
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to becoated must be free of dust, mildew, mold, dirt, grease, loose paint, oil, gluesize, calcimine, wax, soap and other surface contamination. Clean mold stainedsurfaces with Advanced Peroxide Cleaner, or use an EPA registered antimicrobialdisinfectant cleaner such as IAQ 2000, IAQ 2500, ShockWave or ShockWave RTU.Patch irregularities with vinyl patching paste or an appropriate patchingcompound. IAQ 6100 is self-priming over bare sheetrock, composition board,ceiling tile and concrete.
WALLBOARD,SHEETROCK, GYPSUM BOARD
Joint cement shouldbe sanded smooth, but avoid abrading the paper.
FERROUS METAL
Clean, then primewith IAQ 4000 rust inhibiting direct-to-metal primer.
WOOD
Seal knots andstains with IAQ 5000 stain-blocking primer.
MASONRY BLOCK
Apply one coat ofIAQ 3000 block filler if a denser surface is desired.
APPLICATION TOOLS
Apply IAQ 6100 withbrush, roller or airless spray equipment.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
IAQ 6100 is suppliedready to use, but can be thinned sparingly with water (up to 1/2 pint water pergallon) for proper application consistency if necessary. Apply IAQ 6100generously and uniformly by brush, roller, or airless spray. Apply one coat ofIAQ 6100 and ensure that the nishedsurface is properly sealed. To ensure that the finished surface is properlysealed, two-coats may be required on some porous surfaces.

Smooth Surfaces-350-600 sq. ft. per gallon
Porous Surfaces-250-300 sq. ft. per gallon
DRYING TIME
@ 70°F 50% R.H
To Touch – 1 Hour
Recoat – 4-8 Hours
CLEANUP
Clean tools anddrippings with warm soapy water before Fiberlock IAQ 6100 dries. Dispose of allwaste according to all existing local, state and federal regulations.
PRECAUTIONS
Store in a dry placeat temperatures between 40°F (4.5°C) and 90°F. (32°C). Stir thoroughly. Do notmix with any other coatings, solvents or colors in oil. The IAQ 6100 coating isresistant to mold only on the surface of the coating. No mold resistance claimis made other than to the coating itself. The use of this product does notprotect users or others against food-borne or disease-causing bacteria,viruses, germs or other disease-causing organisms. Do not apply when air orsurface temperature is below 50°F, or when drying conditions are poor or whensurfaces are above a 15% moisture level content. Use adequate ventilationduring application. When applying with a sprayer, wear a NIOSH approvedrespirator with any R, P, N or HE filter. For interior use only.
